A Final East German Outpost

It seems that the DDR lives on, amongst the iguanas and the coral reefs of the Caribbean. More on Barcelona soon, but a “hot post” on the wordpress homepage caught my attention and took me to this nice little tale about the (potential) final surviving piece of East German territory, at a fascinating blog called Strange Maps, which has just distracted me for much of the morning, so deserves a thumbs up from this corner of the (former) DDR.

On the Atari DJ Tapedeck: ‘Insel im Golf von Cazones’, Frank Schöbel (which was apparently recorded on the island back in 1975)
